As patients, we are all responsible for understanding our particular plans. Some plans will pay for services that other plans do not, even though both plans are with the same insurance. It is highly recommended that you always contact your insurance company prior to receiving services from any healthcare provider if you are not sure of your particular plan benefits. |

Typically, a co-pay is applied towards a sick visit. If during that visit you receive lab (including instant tests such as Strep, Flu, Mono, Pink Eye) or an injection, some insurances will apply everything but the visit charge to your deductible. It is highly recommended that you always contact your insurance company prior to receiving services from any healthcare provider if you are not sure of your particular plan benefits. |

Yes! RediClinic offers a Prompt Pay discount to any patient who chooses to pay in full at the time of service. The discount price you receive is a reduction from the RediClinic full fee schedule rate. We are able to offer this discount at the time of service ONLY. If you choose to later file that service to your insurance, we cannot honor the Prompt Pay discount given to you at the Time of Service. |

RediClinic, like most healthcare providers, offers patients a Prompt Pay discount if services are paid in full at the time of service. The advertised prices are based on the discounted price for that particular service. All advertised prices come with the following disclosure; †Additional charges may apply. Full payment must be satisfied on date of visit. Choosing to use or submit a claim to your insurance and state/federally funded program, or benefit program (collectively known as “insurer”) may alter your financial responsibility. RediClinic coupons, discounts, or promotions are not applicable to services financially covered by any insurer. Prices and service offers are subject to change without notice. RediClinic is contractually obligated to bill your insurance at our full fee schedule rate. If your insurance allows the service and applies the contracted allowable amount to your deductible, you can potentially owe more than had you chosen to pay cash for the service. Prompt Pay discounts are not retroactive; they apply at the time of service ONLY. It is highly recommended that you always contact your insurance company prior to receiving services from any healthcare provider if you are not sure of your particular plan benefits. |

RediClinic is contracted with Blue Cross Blue Shield. Some out of state (Texas) BCBS plans do not cover mid-level providers. RediClinic is currently staffed with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. RediClinic has no way to determine your particular plan’s benefits or what type of providers they will cover. You can try to appeal their decision by contacting them and asking them to reconsider the charges since you were out of your covered area. It is highly recommended that you always contact your insurance company prior to receiving services from any healthcare provider if you are not sure of your particular plan benefits. |

It is the policy of RediClinic to verify our patient’s insurance eligibility prior to rendering services. This policy benefits not only RediClinic, but you the patient as well. Different employers have different benefit enrollment times and sometimes patients forget to provide their new insurance cards to us. Verification of eligibility under the old card can come back as “ineligible” even though you may just renewed your plan. |
