Message From the CEO

Healthcare is one of the largest and fastest growing industries in our country, accounting for more than $3 trillion in sales and more than 15 percent of our gross domestic product. While our healthcare system has significant strengths, including a tradition of scientific advancement and technological innovation that is unmatched in the world, it rarely gets high marks from consumers for its easy accessibility or affordable cost.

RediClinic is doing its part to fix this, as a leader in “convenient care” through our RediClinics, and as a leader in direct access testing for consumers at retail outlets and employer worksites. In both of these areas, we are dedicated to providing consumers with easy access to high-quality, low-cost routine healthcare and preventive services.

We have made tremendous strides since RediClinic (formerly InterFit Health) was founded in 1989, but we could not have done it without the support of our partners, including major retailers, employers, and sponsoring organizations. We also could not have achieved our goals without support from the thousands of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other dedicated healthcare professionals who have staffed our events and permanent facilities.

RediClinic will continue to be both a driver and a beneficiary of the trend towards consumer-directed healthcare. However, we will never lose sight of the fact that quality is of paramount importance. We will continue to make the substantial investments in technology and training that have thus far enabled us to bring high-quality, basic medical services to millions of consumers who might not have otherwise been able to access or afford them.

To learn more about how retail convenient care and RediClinic are helping to fill the critical need that all Americans share for easier access to high-quality, affordable healthcare, see my recent article in the Opinion section of the Wall Street Journal titled,
"Health Care When You Want It."
