All 14 RediClinics Are Open To Provide Medical Care To The Greater Houston Community
HOUSTON, Texas (September
17, 2008) – All 14 Memorial Hermann-affiliated RediClinics that are located inside H-E-B stores throughout the greater Houston area are open to provide routine medical care to the Houston community. Anyone in need of routine medical care is encouraged to visit the RediClinic locations, as hospital emergency rooms should be used to treat patients with more serious conditions.

RediClinic’s certified nurse practitioners and physician assistants work with Memorial Hermann-affiliated physicians to diagnose, treat, and prescribe (when appropriate) medications for 25-30 common conditions such as strep throat, ear infections, urinary tract infections, and skin rashes, such as poison ivy. No appointments are necessary, visits usually take about 15 minutes, and clinics are operating on the same hourly schedules as the H-E-B stores in which they are located. All RediClinic “Get Well” visits are $69 or your insurance co-pay, although some preventive services cost more or less than this.
RediClinics also have a limited supply of key vaccines including Tetanus-Diptheria (Td). If you need a vaccination, please call ahead to find out if your nearest RediClinic has vaccine available. All RediClinics expect to have a full supply of vaccines available next week.
