RediClinic Announces Expansion
Plans
Company to open 500 new locations; signs agreement with Walgreens;
and adds four senior executives
HOUSTON (May 8, 2006) – InterFit Health’s RediClinic,
provider of high-quality, non-emergency medical services at affordable
prices, today announced its mid-term expansion plans, a significant
new retail partnership, and the addition of four new executives to
RediClinic’s management team.
RediClinic said that it expects to open 500 new locations by 2009,
enabling the company to bring its convenient and affordable non-emergency
care to millions of consumers throughout the United States. This expansion
will occur partially through its existing partnerships with WalMart,
H-E-B, and Duane Reade, as well as through a new partnership with
Walgreens, the nation’s largest drug store chain.
“This expansion is an important milestone in our long experience
with retail healthcare,” said Web Golinkin, President and Chief
Executive Officer of InterFit Health. “After testing and refining
various forms of the RediClinic concept in retail outlets for nearly
10 years, we will be delivering healthcare quality, convenience and
value to consumers nationwide.”
RediClinics are staffed by certified nurse practitioners who work
with local physicians to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications
for common medical conditions, such as strep throat and upper respiratory
infections. They also administer a wide range of preventive services,
including health screenings, medical tests, vaccinations, and basic
physical exams. RediClinics are open seven days a week (including
most holidays) and offer extended hours on weekdays.
Revolution Health Group (RHG), the company created by AOL Co-founder
Steve Case, is InterFit Health’s largest investor and is providing
the capital to support the national roll-out of RediClinics.

RediClinic also announced that it is bolstering its senior management
team with four new executives who have broad and deep retail and healthcare
experience. Joining the senior management team are Shelaghmichael

Chief Operating Officer; Bruce Hall, as RediClinic’s Chief Marketing

“Each of the new members of RediClinic’s senior management
team is a proven executive with significant experience in one or more
functional areas that will be critical to our success,” said
Golinkin. “Their involvement and leadership will enable us to
aggressively expand RediClinic and make it an integral part of the
nation’s healthcare system.”
