About Your Healthcare Providers
RediClinics are staffed by licensed Nurse Practitioners, supported by Medical Assistants. Clinicians are also supported by physicians who provide oversight and are affiliated with a local healthcare system.
Our Nurse Practitioners
Our staff of board certified Nurse Practitioners are qualified to deliver the highest-quality patient care, and they have a strong commitment to improving the health and well-being of each and every patient that visits RediClinic.
As licensed providers, our Nurse Practitioners practice autonomously and in collaboration with local physicians who provide oversight to help manage patients’ health needs. Our clinicians’ scope of practice includes the diagnosis and treatment of acute conditions, as well as providing wellness and preventive care services.
Our experienced Nurse Practitioners are prepared through academic graduate (master’s or doctoral) programs that are designed to provide graduates with specialized knowledge and clinical primary care skills. Our Nurse Practitioners hold board certifications in their area of practice.
Our Medical Assistants or Certified Medical Assistants
Our staff of Medical Assistants are specifically trained to provide patients with an overall great experience at RediClinic. Our Medical Assistants facilitate patient visits by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks that include patient registration, taking vital signs, as well as medical record-keeping such as updating and filing charts. They assist our Nurse Practitioners and oversight Physicians.
Our Medical Assistants are prepared through a one-year certificate, or a two-year associate’s degree from an accredited school. Our Medical Assistants become certified after completion the program.
