Back-to-School Physicals and Immunizations

A routine physical exam is an important, and often mandatory, part of back-to-school season. A back-to-school physical helps ensure your child is current on all state-required vaccinations and determines whether or not it's safe for your child to participate in sports programs and other extracurricular activities.

When you make an appointment for a physical at RediClinic, your clinician will review your child's medical history and assess whether your child is up-to-date on the necessary vaccines. In addition, a routine physical will include the measurement and evaluation of:

  • Height and weight
  • Eyes, ears, nose and throat
  • Lymph nodes
  • Blood pressure
  • Neck and chest
  • Skin and muscles
  • Vision
  • Heart and abdomen
  • Joints and spine
