Fall is here! A timely reminder that cold and flu season is just around the corner. Soon we’ll be exposed to those all-so familiar symptoms — coughs, sneezes, runny noses — from individuals at our workplaces, schools, homes and other common areas throughout our communities. The flu season can be difficult to predict as activity varies in different parts of the country. Strains of the flu virus usually start spreading as early as October. Protect yourself — An annual flu vaccine is the best way to prevent flu illness.
